Gujarat govt reshuffles IAS portfolios; Valsad, Bhavnagar get new collectors

Gandhinagar: The state government on Tuesday appointed Atirag Chaplot, IAS, as the new Valsad Collector (in charge), replacing NN Dave, who has retired. IAS officer DM Solanki, regional commissioner of municipalities in Bhavnagar, will take additional charge as Collector, replacing RK Mehta, who has also retired.
Hanul Choudhary, IAS, the District Development Officer of Bhavnagar, has been appointed as the Municipal Commissioner of Bhavnagar. KP Joshi, IAS, has been given additional charge as the regional commissioner of municipalities in Vadodara, replacing SP Bhagora after his retirement. PC Vyas, Secretary in the Narmada Water Resources and Kalpsar Department, will also handle the Kalpsar portfolio, replacing KR Parikh, who has retired. DeshGujarat
