Maximum temperature above 40°C; heat wave alert issued for Ahmedabad city

Ahmedabad: The India Meteorological Department’s (IMD) Ahmedabad center has issued a heat wave alert for the city from April 4 to 8. The IMD has predicted rising temperatures in the city over the next five days, with the mercury expected to reach 43°C from April 5 onwards.
According to the latest forecast, maximum temperatures will hover around 42°C on April 3 and 4 before climbing to 43°C on April 5, 6, and 7. The bulletin released by IMD Ahmedabad and shared by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) is presented below.
