Ahmedabad: Several passengers expressed surprise and complained on social media about desruption in Ahmedabad Metro functioning.

Utsav Pandya on X stated it was a rare day in his one year of traveling in Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) run Ahmedabad Metro because train was halted for more than 30 minutes.

Pranav Vasavada in his tweet expressed surprise and said – even though Ahmedabad Metro which has been running regularly and without any faults for more than 2 years, (I) was stopped for more than 30 minutes at the Old High Court interchange yesterday (April 4).

Another Twitter handle DD (@RakhdelAmdavad) tweeted – My uncle came from Pune and used Ahmedabad Metro for the first time yesterday. He said that his train halted at Kalupur for more than 30 mins due to some tech glitch. He carried a not so good first impression, but I tried and explained to him that this is a one off case.

GMRC in reply to such tweets said a technical fault was found in one train at Kalupur metro station, so for safety of passengers all passengers were shifted to next train, thus during this time, all following trains experienced a brief delay.

GMRC has not shared exactly what kind of technical fault it was and how it was addressed.DeshGujarat
