Fire breaks out at Parishkar-1 Apartment in Khokhra; 18 residents rescued

Ahmedabad: A fire broke out on the fourth floor of C Block in Parishkar-1 Apartment, located in the Khokhra area, this afternoon. Upon receiving the alert, seven fire tenders and police teams rushed to the scene.
As flames erupted, residents of the affected flat rushed downstairs while a large crowd gathered outside the building. Firefighters successfully rescued around 18 people trapped in the apartment. Fire brigade teams have begun spraying water to bring the blaze under control.
A divisional fire officer told the media that the blaze has been brought under control, and thankfully, no injuries or fatalities have been reported. All 18 people who were trapped have been safely rescued.
Although the exact cause of the fire remains unknown, initial observations indicate it might have started on one of the upper floors. An investigation is ongoing to determine the origin and assess the extent of the damage. DeshGujarat
