Passenger Arrested for Smoking E-Cigarette on Flight at Surat Airport

Surat: Dumus Police have arrested an individual for carrying a prohibited e-cigarette on a flight and smoking it during the flight.
The accused, Rajesh Parmar, a resident of Katargam, was caught smoking a banned e-cigarette in his seat on a Dubai-Surat flight by an air hostess.
According to details, on Saturday, Dhaval Sunilkumar Bhavsar (27), an executive security officer at Surat Airport with Indigo Airlines, was informed by air hostess Preeti Kalere that a passenger in seat number 17-B on the flight was seen smoking an e-cigarette around 4:30 PM while the flight was in the air. The passenger was identified as Rajesh Mansukh Lal Parmar (44), a resident of Haridarshan Apartment, Katargam.
An e-cigarette from the company Rejoy 14000 was recovered from him. Rajesh had carried the prohibited electronic cigarette onto the plane and smoked during the flight. The police were notified, and a case was registered at Dumus Police Station. Rajesh was arrested, and it was revealed that he works for a diamond company in Dubai. DeshGujarat
