Gujarat Police returns ₹55 crore worth of stolen goods in 3 months

Ahmedabad: Under the ‘Tera Tujhko Arpan’ initiative, the Gujarat Police organized 2,108 programs across all districts in just three months, returning recovered property worth over ₹55.07 crore to the rightful owners, an official press statement said.
In 2025, under the same initiative, the Gujarat Police organized 686 programs in January, returning property worth over ₹20.18 crore; 612 programs in February, returning property worth over ₹13.84 crore; and 810 programs in March, returning property worth more than ₹21.04 crore to the rightful owners.
The main objective of ‘Tera Tujhko Arpan’ is to promptly return property recovered or seized in crimes such as theft and robbery to the rightful owners under court directions. This ensures that complainants and applicants do not have to make repeated visits to police stations, saving citizens’ time and energy. As part of this program, public events and Lok Darbars are organized to return the items to their rightful owners. DeshGujarat
