ACB Gujarat Arrests Senior Surveyor of Survey Land Records Office in Bribery Case

Gir Somnath: In a successful trap operation, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has arrested a senior surveyor from the SLR (Survey, Land Records) office in Una, Gir Somnath, on bribery charges.
The accused has been identified as Ravatbhai Rambhai Sisodiya, a 37-year-old Senior Surveyor (Shirastedar), Class-3 employee at the SLR office in Una, Gir Somnath.
The incident occurred on April 19, 2025.
According to the ACB, the complainant, a concerned citizen, had filed a property card application with the SLR office. It is alleged that Sisodiya demanded ₹1,50,000 to process the application. After negotiations, the amount was settled at ₹1,30,000, of which ₹1,00,000 was demanded from the complainant on the day of the incident, with the remaining ₹30,000 to be paid later.
Unwilling to pay the bribe, the complainant contacted the Gir Somnath ACB police station, which organized a trap. Sisodiya was caught accepting the bribe at the SLR office in Una.
The amount of the bribe demanded was ₹1,50,000, and the amount accepted and recovered was ₹1,00,000. The offense took place at the SLR office, Collectorate Office Building, Una, Gir Somnath.
The trap operation was conducted by Police Inspector D.R. Gadhvi, and the supervision was carried out by Assistant Director B.M. Patel, In-charge Junagadh ACB Unit. DeshGujarat
