Western Railway to Run Mumbai Rajkot Tejas Superfast Special Train

Surat: To accommodate the increased passenger traffic, especially during the summer holidays, Western Railway has decided to operate a special Tejas Superfast train service between Mumbai Central and Rajkot.
The train, numbered 09005/09006, will make a total of 34 trips. Train No. 09005, the Mumbai Central – Rajkot Special, will run every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from April 21st to May 28th, 2025. It will depart from Mumbai Central at 11:20 PM and reach Rajkot at 11:45 AM the next day.
For the return journey, Train No. 09006, the Rajkot – Mumbai Central Special, will operate every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from April 22nd to May 29th, 2025. The train will depart from Rajkot at 6:30 PM and arrive at Mumbai Central at 7:30 AM the following day.
The special train will halt at Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Anand, Ahmedabad, Viramgam, Surendranagar, and Wankaner stations in both directions.
The train will have First AC, AC 2-Tier, and AC 3-Tier coaches available for passengers.
Booking for these special trains will commence on April 19th, 2025, at all Passenger Reservation System (PRS) counters and on the IRCTC website. DeshGujarat
