Gandhinagar: Ashishbhai Dave has been declared as president of Gandhinagar city unit of ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). This announcement was done through a formal press release issued by the party media convener Yagnesh Dave today. The appointment is made as per the instruction of the State party chief CR Patil through State election official Uday Kangad. Dr. Ashishkumar Dave is former Chairman of Gandhinagar Urban Development Authority (GUDA). He was also the Chairman of Executive Committee of Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation (GMC).
