Chhattisgarh’s Kawardha district delegation on visit to rural development projects in Gujarat

Gandhinagar: A 26-member delegation of officers, officials and rural farmers of Kawardha district administration of Chhattisgarh state is a week-long visit to Gujarat  to observe the use of technology in rural development.

This team includes the president and vice-president of Kabirdham district panchayat, as well as 12 farmer representatives and state government officials.

This delegation  started its Gujarat tour with a visit to BISAG to get better acquainted with the GIS-based technology-based rural development planning and innovation that Gujarat has adopted in the state with the help of BISAG and how BISEG has been useful for the development of sugarcane crop in the state and the best practices.

The delegation paid visit to the State Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel.

The delegation is scheduled to visit Anand NDDB and get exposure in dairy development, biogas plant and sustainable development.

In addition, a field visit to the Bardoli Sugar Factory will be conducted to learn about sugarcane crop production, sugarcane processing in Khandsari, best practices, and operations of Khandsari units. DeshGujarat
