Two arrested in Surat for flying drone

Surat: A photographer and an owner of a restaurant in Surat were arrested by Police for flying a drone. On Friday evening at around 6.07 pm, police control room received a message that a drone was flying above La ceremony on Singanpore causeway road. Singapore police rushed to the place, as flying of drone is prohibited by police due to ongoing tension on Indo-Pak border. Police learned that a drone was operated by a photographer namely Gaurav Rathod for publicity video of Akbarali Abbasali owned Akbarali restaurant. Police arrested both Gaurav Rathod and Akbarali and also seized DJI company’s drone, remote control, battery worth Rs. 60,000. DeshGujarat
