Gandhinagar to get 100-bed cardiac facility; PM Modi likely to dedicate it on May 27

Gandhinagar: A 100-bed capacity UN Mehta Heart Hospital in the Civil Hospital campus here is likely to be e-inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually from Mahatma Mandir on May 27. The Prime Minister is going to launch a number of development projects from across Gujarat virtually at a function in Mahatma Mandir on May 27.
The new cardiac building is ground plus three. It has a 100-bed capacity, two operation theatres, an ICCU, special rooms, and other facilities. The facility is created at a cost of Rs 84 crore. OPD, TMT, the Echo and ECG room, X-ray, sonography, and the store are located on the ground floor. 18-18 beds, two ICUs and isolation departments, two operation theatres, and a five-bed ICU are located on the first floor. 18-bed ICU, one isolation bed, and 22 general beds are located on the second floor. Five special rooms and an administrative office are located on the third floor.
The building and facilities are ready, and after the inauguration, likely on May 27, the services can be offered to patients a few days after that. DeshGujarat
