Light Rain Likely in Parts of Gujarat Over Next Week: IMD Weather Forecast | मौसम | હવામાન

Ahmedabad: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light to moderate rainfall or thundershowers at isolated places across various districts of Gujarat, Daman, Diu, and Dadra & Nagar Haveli over the next seven days. While no significant change in maximum temperature is expected, isolated showers are likely in many parts of South Gujarat and Saurashtra, with rain activity expanding to North Gujarat by mid-week.

On June 9, isolated rain/thundershowers are likely in South Gujarat districts — Narmada, Surat, Dang, Navsari, Valsad, and Tapi — as well as in Daman, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, and parts of Saurashtra including Rajkot, Junagadh, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Gir Somnath, Botad, and Diu. Dry weather will prevail elsewhere.

Similar rainfall patterns will continue, with isolated showers in Dang, Navsari, Valsad, Tapi, Daman, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, and parts of Saurashtra (Amreli, Bhavnagar, Gir Somnath, and Diu). Other districts are expected to remain dry during June 10–12.

On June 13, rain activity may slightly intensify, with isolated rainfall expected in Panchmahal and Dahod (North Gujarat); several districts of South Gujarat including Vadodara, Chhota Udepur, Narmada, Bharuch, Surat, Dang, Navsari, Valsad, and Tapi; and parts of Saurashtra including Amreli, Bhavnagar, Gir Somnath, and Diu.

On June 14, showers are likely to cover more North Gujarat districts such as Mahisagar, Aravalli, Panchmahal, and Dahod, along with widespread isolated rainfall across South Gujarat and parts of Saurashtra including Rajkot, Junagadh, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Gir Somnath, Botad, and Diu.

By the end of the forecast period on June 15, rain is expected in more North Gujarat districts including Anand, Sabarkantha, Mahisagar, Aravalli, Panchmahal, and Dahod, in addition to continued showers across South Gujarat and Saurashtra.
