Dry spell continues in Gujarat, only two places had insignificantly light rains in 48 hours

Gandhinagar: After several days long spell of nonseasonal rains in various parts of Gujarat, the rainfall is on halt for last two-three days, and there’s no forecast of further rainfall for next few days. The heat is back and pre-monsoon showers have taken a break. As per the data available from the State Control Room, that monitors daily rainfall data from across Gujarat, only one taluka in the State received rainfall in 24 hours period ending today morning. Kaprada in Valsad district received insignificant rainfall of 0.1 inch which equals to 3 mm. In the previous 24 hours spell ending on 9th of June morning also, the State witnessed rainfall only in one taluka which was Lilia in Amreli and it was 0.2 inch only which equals to 5 mm. DeshGujarat
