Indian Coast Guard rescues 22 stranded at ‘flooded site’ in Amreli

Amreli: The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) rescued 22 individuals, including women, who were stranded at a flooded site in Gujarat on June 16th, the force said on Wednesday.
In a post on social media platform X, the ICG shared photos and stated, “Indian Coast Guard Station Pipavav, in coordination with Marine Police, rescued 22 stranded personnel, including women, from a flooded Gujarat Water Supply and Sewerage Board (GWSSB) site near Victor village, Amreli. Amid tough weather and low visibility, ICG reaffirmed its motto: “We Protect.”
It is noteworthy that on June 16th, Rajula taluka, which houses Victor village, received very heavy rainfall, up to 7.4 inches in 24 hours, leading to flash floods and waterlogging in the region. DeshGujarat
