ACB Gujarat nabs another Talati Mantri in bribe case

Palanpur: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Gujarat today nabbed a female Talati-cum-Minister posted at the Takarwada Gram Panchayat in Banaskantha district in a bribe case involving a sum of ₹4,000.
According to ACB officials, the complainant approached the accused, Meenaben Luvjibhai Parmar, a Class-3 government employee, to obtain a residence certificate and property boundary certificate required for a home loan application for his nephew. In return for providing these documents, the accused allegedly demanded an illegal bribe of ₹4,000. Unwilling to pay, the complainant contacted the ACB.
Acting on the complaint, the ACB laid a trap today at the Takarwada Gram Panchayat office in Palanpur taluka, where the accused was caught red-handed accepting the full bribe amount of ₹4,000. An official case has been registered against the accused for accepting bribe money. DeshGujarat
