Upto 8.66 inch rain in Gujarat; 24 hours rainfall data

Gandhinagar: According to the 24 hours rainfall data available from the State government,142 talukas of Gujarat had rain in 24 hours period ending Wednesday morning. Of them 75 had one inch or more rainfall.
The parts of Central and South Gujarat dominated the list in this period with Nandod 220 mm, Dahod 192 mm, Tilakwada 181 mm, Jetpur Pavi 177 mm, Shehera 173 mm, Dharampur 170 mm, Vapi 157 mm, Bardoli 151 mm, Virpur in Mahisagar 151 mm, Singvad 141, Modasa 139, Morwa Hadaf 137 mm, Pardi 136 mm, Khergam 132 mm, Songadh 130 mm, Lunawada 130 mm, Vyara 128 mm, Garudeshwhar 125 mm so as Limkheda, Jambughoda 115 mm, Sankheda and Halol 113 mm each, Mahuva in Surat 110 mm, Bodeli 108 mm, Dediapada 103 mm, Umarpada 102 mm and Netrang 101 mm.
The Government of India’s Weather arm India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted further rains. Gujarat has as of 8 am today, completed 24.25 percent rainfall of average monsoon season just in 10 days of Monsoon that began on 15th June. DeshGujarat
