Gujarat govt transfers municipal Chief Officers across the state

Gandhinagar: The Urban Development and Urban Housing Department of the Gujarat government has issued a notification ordering the transfer of 29 Chief Officers serving in various municipalities across the state. The changes have been made with immediate effect as per administrative requirements.
According to the circular, the reshuffle affects officers serving in key towns including Santrampur, Halol, Rajula, Chotila, Vijapur, Bhachau, Kutiyana, Talala, Vadali, Talod, Prantij, Jamjodhpur, Dhandhuka, Chaklasi, Botad, Veraval Patan, Jetpur-Navagadh, Amreli, Deesa, Khambhaliya, Radhanpur, Jasdan, Kodinar, Dholka, Thasra, Vadnagar, and others. Notably, Vishal Patel will additionally take charge of the post of Chief Officer, Mahudha, along with his current duties in Chaklasi.
The department stated that these transfers are in line with routine administrative practice and aim to ensure effective governance in urban areas. DeshGujarat
