ACB Nabs GISF Guard in Bribe Case at Gandhinagar RTO

Gandhinagar: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Gujarat today nabbed a GISF guard posted at the Gandhinagar RTO office in a bribe case involving ₹1,500.
According to case details, Ashokbhai Kacharabhai Solanki, a resident of Billamna village in Dehgam taluka and serving as a GISF guard at Gandhinagar RTO, demanded a bribe of ₹1,500 from a complainant for renewing a driving licence. The complainant, unwilling to pay, approached the ACB.
Following this, the ACB team laid a trap. During the operation, the accused accepted the bribe amount of ₹1,500 from the complainant, after which he was immediately caught red-handed by the ACB team. The entire bribe amount was recovered on the spot. DeshGujarat
