Surat: The Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) has announced that it is operating dedicated bus services for passengers traveling between Surat and Bhavnagar using the Ghogha-Hazira Ro-Ro ferry. The GSRTC has launched bus services connecting the two Ro-Ro terminals at Ghogha and Hazira with the nearest major bus stations.

As part of the service, GSRTC runs buses to and from Adajan Bus Depot in Surat to Hazira Ro-Ro Terminal. Similarly, the state department operates bus services between Bhavnagar Bus Stand and Ghogha Ro-Ro Terminal.

Key Details of the Bus Services:

• Bhavnagar to Ghogha ferry terminal: Departure at 9:00 AM and 2:45 PM

• Ghogha ferry terminal to Bhavnagar return: Departure at 12:30 PM and 9:35 PM

• Adajan to Hazira ferry terminal: Departure at 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM

• Hazira ferry terminal to Adajan return: Departure at 2:00 PM and 8:30 PM

The fare from Ghogha Terminal to Bhavnagar Bus Depot is Rs. 23 per passenger, while Surat-Hazira bus travel costs Rs. 28 per passenger.

The new services are operated according to the ferry schedule, providing seamless travel for commuters. This initiative is expected to offer significant convenience for ferry passengers and promote the use of public transport along the Ro-Ro ferry routes. DeshGujarat
