Gandhinagar: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) today caught Dani Kajalben Bhanukantbhai, Center In-Charge of the Multi-Purpose Women’s Welfare Center, Dahegam, accepting a bribe of ₹500 in Dahegam.

As per the details, the complainant had approached the accused for assistance in preparing a file related to claims under maintenance and domestic violence laws. The accused demanded a bribe of ₹500 for preparing the file. As the complainant was unwilling to pay, she contacted the ACB. During a trap operation today, the accused engaged in a pre-planned discussion with the complainant, accepted the bribe, and was caught on the spot by ACB officials.
