Ahmedabad: A tragic accident near Namaste Circle claimed the life of a young man after a tree branch fell on him. The incident occurred when an overloaded private luxury bus struck a tree, causing a heavy branch to break and fall on a man riding his Activa scooter behind the vehicle. He was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

The deceased, identified as Kristen, worked as a coordinator at a private company. Police have registered a case of culpable homicide against the bus driver and launched further investigation. Preliminary police inquiry revealed that the luxury bus was carrying excess luggage. As it passed through Namaste Circle, the overloaded baggage hit a tree, causing the branch to snap and fall on Kristen, leading to his untimely demise. DeshGujarat
