Flight Delay Fails to Stop Gujaratis; Impromptu Garba at Goa Airport Goes Viral

Surat: A five-hour delay of the Surat-bound flight from Goa on Sunday led passengers to turn frustration into celebration.

Mayur, who had traveled to Goa for work, and his friends were eager to return to Surat for Navratri festivities. Initially, they had booked train tickets, but due to delays in train services, they canceled them and opted for a flight instead. Surprisingly, even the flight was delayed by five hours. Undeterred, Mayur and his fellow travelers turned the Goa airport into an impromptu festival ground, performing Garba together.

During the wait, they began performing Garba at the airport, joined by fellow passengers and airline staff. Music and speakers were arranged by a flight attendant, creating a festive atmosphere. A video of the lively dance, with people clapping, twirling, and swaying to traditional beats, quickly went viral.

Passengers made the most of the delay, celebrating the spirit of Navratri right at the airport. DeshGujarat
