ABVP to have new Gujarat State Headquarters building at Shrilekha Bhavan Paldi

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) ‘s students wing Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) will get its new State headquarters. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel today laid the foundation stone of same in Paldi area of Ahmedabad city.
The new headquarters building will replace the old Shrilekha Bhavan in Paldi gaam area just close to the Paldi Char Rasta.
The old headquarters had been witness to various students movement including Navnirman movement and the fight against Emergency in 1970s. Narendra Modi himself stayed in this headquarters during Emergency. Amit Shah was regular visitor to this old headquarters when he was a cadre of ABVP.
