Ahmedabad: Chandkheda police have filed a case of assault and property damage after a couple was allegedly attacked by a resident near Swarnim Bungalows.
The complainant, a university professor, and her husband, a software engineer from London, were reportedly confronted during a late-night walk on August 29. The accused allegedly threatened them, brandished a stick, and released his pet dog toward them, asking them to leave the area.
When the couple tried to escape in their car, the accused and two women allegedly damaged the vehicle, causing losses of about ₹40,000. The couple had contacted the police at the time of the incident, but as they were flying to London the next day, they filed a formal complaint after returning to the city. DeshGujarat
