Gandhinagar: The first session of the academic year 2025–26 in schools across Gujarat concludes, October 15. Following this, the much-awaited 21-day Diwali vacation will commence from Thursday, October 16, and continue until November 5. Schools will reopen for the second half academic session on November 6.

As today marks the final day of the first semester, students across the State are gearing up for festive celebrations. Teachers and students will mark the occasion with Diwali greetings, cultural programs, and cheerful send-offs before the break.

Similarly, in colleges, the first semester will conclude on October 16, with the Diwali vacation beginning the next day. College sessions are scheduled to resume from November 7. DeshGujarat
