Ahmedabad: In a festive gift to city commuters, Ahmedabad Municipal Transport Service (AMTS) has announced free travel for passengers for three consecutive days during Diwali. Under this initiative, passengers can travel free of cost on all AMTS buses on Dhanteras, Kali Chaudas, and Diwali day.

The decision has been taken as part of a special Swadeshi campaign aimed at encouraging local shopping during the festive season. AMTS officials said the initiative is intended to support citizens and boost local businesses by making festive travel easier and more affordable. DeshGujarat
