Massive fire breaks out at MG Motors scrap godown in Halol

Panchmahal: A major fire broke out at a scrap godown of MG Motor India in Halol on Thursday afternoon, triggering panic in the area. Firefighting operations are currently underway to bring the blaze under control.
According to initial information, the fire suddenly erupted in the afternoon at the scrap storage facility located in the Chandrapura area of Halol. The blaze quickly spread due to the large amount of scrap material stored at the site.
Fire tenders from Halol rushed to the spot immediately after the incident was reported. As the fire intensified, additional firefighting teams from nearby industrial units were called in to assist.
Firefighters from Halol, Kalol, GFL Company, Alembic, and Polycab are engaged in efforts to douse the flames. Thick smoke was seen billowing from the site, and authorities are taking measures to prevent the fire from spreading further.
