Gandhinagar: Governor Acharya Devvrat administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly inducted Deputy Chief Minister and Ministers of the Bhupendra Patel-led Gujarat government.

During the swearing-in ceremony, in the presence of the Governor, Harsh Sanghvi took oath as the Deputy Chief Minister. In addition, five cabinet-level ministers, three Ministers of State with independent charge, and twelve Ministers of State took oath in the name of God.

As cabinet ministers, Jitendrasinh Vaghasia, Nareshbhai Patel, Arjunbhai Modhwadia, Dr. Pradyumnbhai Waja, and Ramanbhai Solanki were administered the oath of office and secrecy.

As Ministers of State with independent charge, Ishwarsinh Patel, Praful Bhai Panseriya, and Manisha Vakil took the oath.

As Ministers of State, Kantilal Amrutiya, Rameshbhai Katara, Darshanaben Vaghela, Kaushikbhai Vekariya, Pravinkumar Mali, Dr. Jayrambhai Gamit, Trikambhai Chhanga, Kamleshbhai Patel, Sanjaysinh Mahida, P.C. Baranda, Swarupji Thakor, and Rivaba Jadeja took the oath before the Governor.

Cabinet ministers of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel’s government—Kanubhai Desai, Rishikeshbhai Patel, Kunwarjibhai Bavaliya, and State Minister Parshottambhai Solanki—have been retained in their respective positions in the new ministry.

The ceremony was attended by BJP National President and Union Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda, Gujarat BJP President Jagdish Vishwakarma, Union Ministers Mansukh Mandaviya and C.R. Patil, MPs, MLAs, party office-bearers, senior leaders, saints, representatives from various social sections, Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, the Director General of Police, and a large number of well-wishers.
