Surat: Marengo Asia Hospitals on Thursday announced the acquisition of Sunshine Global Hospitals, a Gujarat-based healthcare network with a total capacity of 350 beds across Surat and Vadodara.

Raajiv Singhal, Founder and Group CEO of Marengo Asia Hospitals, stated that as the organisation continues to expand its footprint in western India, it is delighted to establish a presence in the key cities of Vadodara and Surat.

With this acquisition, Marengo Asia Hospitals now operates eight hospitals nationwide, offering a total of 2,500 beds and supported by a team of more than 900 doctors and 5,200 employees. The company did not disclose the financial terms of the deal. DeshGujarat
