Ahmedabad: The city traffic police today announced traffic diversions on the Sardar Patel (SP) Ring Road as the Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (AUDA) will carry out repair work on the Tragad Underpass box and Vatva Railway Overbridge. The work at both locations is scheduled to last 40 days, during which traffic will be diverted in phases to ensure smooth vehicular movement.

Diversion and Alternative Routes for Tragad Underpass Repair Work

• ~ Phase 1: Traffic from Tragad Underpass towards Vaishnodevi Circle via Zundal Bridge will be diverted for 20 days.
• ~ Phase 2: After completion of Phase 1, traffic from Vaishnodevi Circle towards Zundal Bridge will be diverted for the next 20 days.

In total, a stretch of 4.33 km will be temporarily closed for vehicles. Alternative routes will be available via Vaishnodevi Circle to Adalaj Circle and Zundal Circle.

Diversion and Alternative Routes for Vatva Railway Overbridge Repair Work

• ~ Phase 1: Traffic from Hathijan Circle towards Aslali Circle on the Vatva Railway Overbridge will be diverted for 20 days.
• ~ Phase 2: After completion of Phase 1, traffic from Aslali Circle towards Hathijan Circle will be diverted for the next 20 days.

In total, a 7.35 km stretch will be temporarily closed for vehicular movement.

On the Sardar Patel Ring Road, the section from Ropda Chokdi to Saraswati Chokdi will have one side closed, while the other side remains open to allow vehicles to pass. DeshGujarat
