Surat Airport to get more connectivity during winter schedule; IndiGo, Air India Express to add flights

Surat: The winter schedule will see the launch of a new flight from Surat, connecting Kolkata, Jaipur, Lucknow, and Bengaluru directly to Surat. Passengers will be able to travel to these cities without changing aircraft during the journey.
IndiGo Airlines has launched a one-stop flight connecting Surat to Kolkata via Jaipur. As per the airline website, passengers traveling on IndiGo flight 6E 784 will depart from Surat at around 16:20, reaching Jaipur (T2) at 17:40 after a flight duration of 1 hour 20 minutes. The flight has a 30-minute layover at Jaipur, during which deboarding may not be allowed. The onward leg from Jaipur to Kolkata will depart at 18:10, arriving in Kolkata at 20:35 after a 2-hour 25-minute journey.
On the return, IndiGo flight 6E 715 will depart from Kolkata at 11:35, arriving in Jaipur (T2) at 13:50 after a flight time of 2 hours 15 minutes. The flight has a 35-minute layover at Jaipur, during which deboarding may not be allowed. The onward leg from Jaipur to Surat is scheduled to depart at 14:25, landing in Surat at 15:45 following a 1-hour 20-minute journey.
Air India Express is launching a flight between Surat and Lucknow via Bengaluru. For this route, flight IX 2049 will depart from Lucknow (Terminal 3) at 11:05 on an Airbus A320, reaching Bengaluru (Terminal 2) at 13:50 after a 2-hour 45-minute journey. Passengers will have a 55-minute layover in Bengaluru, with no aircraft change required. The onward flight IX 2049 will depart Bengaluru at 14:45, arriving in Surat at 16:45 following a 2-hour flight.
Meanwhile, another flight connecting Surat and Hyderabad will also run via Bengaluru. This flight, IX 2051, will depart from Surat Airport at 17:15 on an Airbus A320, arriving in Bengaluru (Terminal 2) at 19:15 after a 2-hour journey. Passengers will have a 55-minute layover in Bengaluru, with no aircraft change required.
