Tripura Assembly delegation on 5 day study tour to Gujarat; visits Atal Bridge, Sabarmati Riverfront

Ahmedabad: A delegation of Tripura Legislative Assembly members is on a five-day study tour to Gujarat. On the first day of their visit, the committee toured several prominent locations in Ahmedabad, including the Sabarmati Riverfront, Atal Bridge, Ashram Road, and ISKCON Temple. The delegation gathered detailed information about the city’s development, urban amenities, and beautification initiatives that have earned Ahmedabad the distinction of being the first UNESCO World Heritage City in the world.
The committee members praised Ahmedabad’s balanced urban development and efforts to enhance civic infrastructure, expressing satisfaction and inspiration from the city’s progress.
The delegation, led by Tripura MLA Swapna Debbarma, includes MLAs Manab Debbarma, Ramu Das, and Nayan Sarkar. During their Gujarat visit, which continues until October 31, the members will travel to Somnath, Dwarka, Porbandar (Gandhi’s birthplace), and other locations to study various developmental initiatives and welfare measures undertaken by the Government of Gujarat for the well-being of its citizens.
