Porbandar: The coastal town of Porbandar in the Saurashtra region, famous for being the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi, will soon get a mini science centre. The Minister of Science and Technology and Porbandar MLA, Arjun Modhwadia, announced that a mini science centre will be established in the town at an estimated cost of ₹100 crore.

At an event organised by the Porbandar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Arjun Modhwadia said, “We will set up a ₹100 crore mini science centre in Porbandar. If there is the best science city in the nation, it is in Ahmedabad, I would even say it might be the best in Asia. We will set up a similar mini science centre here.” DeshGujarat
