Special Camps in Vadodara on upcoming 2 weekends as part of SIR Exercise

Vadodara: As part of the statewide Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral roll, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) have been going door to door to distribute forms for voter list revision. The district election machinery has stated that the distribution of enumeration forms is almost complete in Vadodara. However, if some people have not yet received the forms, special camps will be organized at polling stations on November 15, 16, 22, and 23, where BLOs will be available to assist voters in updating their details.

Under the special intensive revision program announced by the Election Commission in October, work in Vadodara district is being conducted in two phases. BLOs continue to make door-to-door visits to ensure maximum coverage.

District Collector Anil Dhamelia, who also serves as the District Election Officer, said that special camps are being organized for locally migrated or absent voters, including camps at old age homes and other institutions. BLOs will be present at polling stations from 9 am to 1 pm on the scheduled dates.

At these camps, voters will be provided with all facilities, including form distribution, collection, guidance, and mapping services. BLOs will assist residents in updating details, linking information, and completing mapping procedures. The process of form collection and uploading has already begun.

To facilitate BLOs, soft copies and Excel sheets of voter lists for all areas have been made available. BLOs and Super BLOs are proactively assisting voters both online and offline. Residents needing help can contact their local BLO.

How to Know Your BLO

The mobile number of the BLO is printed on the enumeration form. If you have not received the form, you can identify your BLO through the Election Commission of India’s website ecinet.eci.gov.in or by downloading the Voter Application on your mobile. On the homepage, click “Book a Call with BLO”, enter your registered mobile number or EPIC number, and verify the OTP sent to your mobile. Your registered details will appear, allowing you to contact your BLO for guidance. DeshGujarat
