Special SIR Camps: Ahmedabad DEO urges Voters to submit Enumeration forms

Ahmedabad: The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Gujarat has announced that Special Summary Revision (SIR) camps will be held across the state to help citizens update and verify their voter details. The camps aim to ensure maximum voter participation ahead of the upcoming electoral cycle.

Sujeet Kumar, Collector & District Election Officer, Ahmedabad, in a video appeal, urged all eligible voters to participate in the revision exercise to ensure accuracy in the electoral rolls.

He said, “The enumeration form collection work is ongoing, and Booth Level Officers (BLOs) are carrying out door-to-door exercises in Ahmedabad. This work will continue until December 4, but I appeal to voters who have received the forms and have filled them to submit their enumeration forms without waiting for December 4.

“Additionally, we are organizing camps on 29th and 30th November for those who have not yet submitted their forms. Citizens can come to these camps and fill out and submit the forms on the spot,” he added.

According to the schedule, the SIR camps will be held on 29 November 2025 from 12 PM to 5 PM and on 30 November 2025 from 10 AM to 5 PM.

Citizens can visit the office of their Mamlatdar or the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) of their respective Legislative Assembly Constituency for information and guidance regarding the camps.

At the SIR camps, people will be able to:

  • Search their name in the 2025 voter list
