Ahmedabad: The Standing Committee of Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) on December 3 approved the construction of a swimming pool and gymnasium for women in Navrangpura Ward, West Zone, on plots T.P. No. 21, F.P. No. 674/2, 678, and 679, located near Cloud-9.

The project is estimated at ₹14.98 crore and has been awarded to Yamunesh Construction LLP at a tendered amount of ₹10.03 crore, with a planned completion period of 24 months. The development will be executed under architect consultant L.J. Purani & Associates, covering a total plot area of 5,351.18 sq. m.
