Vadodara: A tragic accident occurred this morning on National Highway-48 near Kapurai Crossroads, resulting in the death of a couple. According to reports, the deceased couple was riding at high speed on a motorcycle when they slipped and came under a tractor-trolley. A truck following from behind subsequently ran over them, killing them on the spot.

The deceased, Sameer Shah and his wife Beena Shah, were residents of Sundaram Heights Society near Vaikunth Char Rasta in Vadodara. They were on their way to a grocery store at the time of the accident.

The accident left a gruesome scene, with blood stains and scattered debris. Kapurai police reached the site immediately to conduct an investigation. Both bodies have been shifted to Sayaji Hospital, and the police have seized the tractor involved in the incident.

According to Kapurai police, the accident occurred when the tractor-trolley’s steering malfunctioned, causing the couple to fall under it. The truck coming from behind then ran over them, resulting in their immediate death.
