Indian Coast Guard nabs 11 Pakistani Fishermen off Gujarat coast

Kutch: The Indian Coast Guard on Wednesday apprehended 11 Pakistani fishermen near the Indian maritime border off the Jakhau coast in Kutch. The group was found aboard a boat named Al Wali.

The fishermen were brought to Jakhau port, where authorities have launched an investigation. Preliminary reports indicate that one of the 11 individuals is a minor. The detainees will be handed over to the Jakhau Marine Police for further questioning and investigation.

“In a swift and coordinated operation on December 10, 2025, the Indian Coast Guard intercepted and apprehended a Pakistani fishing vessel along with 11 crew members operating illegally inside Indian waters.
