NTPC Green Energy adds 69 MW to Khavda-I Solar PV project in Gujarat

New Delhi: NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) has announced the commercial commissioning of 69.04 MW capacity from the Khavda-I Solar PV Project in Gujarat, marking a significant advancement in India’s renewable energy sector.
In a stock exchange filing, the company said, “The eighth part capacity of 69.04 MW out of the 1,255 MW Khavda-I Solar PV Project, located in Gujarat under the CPSU Scheme Phase-II Tranche-III of NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited, is declared on commercial operation w.e.f. 00:00 hrs of 25.12.2025.”
With this addition, the total installed capacity of the NTPC Green Energy Limited Group has reached 7,996.30 MW, while the commercially operational capacity stands at 7,927.26 MW, reflecting the group’s steady progress in bringing renewable energy projects online. DeshGujarat
