Ahmedabad: To carry out the work in connection with the 6th line on the Kandivali and Borivali section, a block of 30 days is being undertaken from the night of 20th/21st December 2025 and will continue up to 18th January 2026. Due to the block, a few WR trains will be affected.

According to a press release issued by the Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, Vineet Abhishek, a major Non-Interlocking Block will be undertaken for the commissioning of the Electronic Interlocking (EI) panel at Borivali on the UP and DOWN Fast lines on 27th/28th December 2025 from 01:00 hrs to 07:00 hrs. During the block, some UP Mail/Express trains will skip the halt at Borivali station. Also, after the block, Borivali station platform nos. 8 and 9 will remain suspended till 29th December 2025.

Due to the block, suspension of the 5th line and Borivali platform nos. 8 and 9, some suburban services will remain cancelled, and some Borivali/Andheri trains will run up to Goregaon on the harbour line.

Cancellation of Trains:

1. Train No. 69174 Dahanu Road – Borivali MEMU will remain cancelled for the journey commencing on 28th December 2025.

Halt Skippage:

1. Train No. 19038 Barauni – Bandra Terminus Express, journey commencing on 26th December 2025, will not halt at Borivali station. Instead, it will have an additional stoppage at Vasai Road station.

2. Train No. 22946 Okha – Dadar Express, journey commencing on 27th December 2025, will not halt at Borivali station. Instead, it will have additional stoppages at Vasai Road and Andheri stations.

3. Train No. 22904 Bhuj – Bandra Terminus Express, journey commencing on 27th December 2025, will not halt at Borivali station. Instead, it will have additional stoppages at Vasai Road and Andheri stations.

4. Train No. 09052 Bhusaval – Dadar Special, journey commencing on 27th December 2025, will not halt at Borivali station. Instead, it will have additional stoppages at Vasai Road and Andheri stations.

5. Train No. 22928 Ahmedabad – Bandra Terminus Express, journey commencing on 27th December 2025, will not halt at Borivali station. Instead, it will have an additional stoppage at Vasai Road station.

6. Train No. 12928 Ekta Nagar – Dadar Express, journey commencing on 27th December 2025, will not halt at Borivali station. Instead, it will have an additional stoppage at Vasai Road station.

Short Termination/Origination of Trains:

1. Train No. 19426 Nandurbar – Borivali Express, journey commencing on 27th December 2025, will terminate at Vasai Road station instead of Borivali station.

2. Train No. 19418 Ahmedabad – Borivali Express, journey commencing on 27th December 2025, will terminate at Vasai Road station instead of Borivali station.

3. Train No. 69139 Borivali – Valsad Express, journey commencing on 28th December 2025, will depart from Dahanu Road station instead of Borivali station.

4. Train No. 19417 Borivali – Ahmedabad Express, journey commencing on 28th December 2025, will depart from Vasai Road station instead of Borivali station.

5. Train No. 19425 Borivali – Nandurbar Express, journey commencing on 28th December 2025, will depart from Vasai Road station instead of Borivali station.

Rescheduling of Trains:

1. Train No. 22921 Bandra Terminus – Gorakhpur Express, journey commencing on 28th December 2025, will be rescheduled by 02 hours.

2. Train No. 22953 Mumbai Central – Ahmedabad Express, journey commencing on 28th December 2025, will be rescheduled by 01 hour 35 minutes.

3. Train No. 20901 Mumbai Central – Gandhinagar Capital Express, journey commencing on 28th December 2025, will be rescheduled by 01 hour.

4. Train No. 12953 Bandra Terminus – Surat Express, journey commencing on 28th December 2025, will be rescheduled by 50 minutes.

5. Train No. 19218 Veraval – Bandra Terminus Express, journey commencing on 27th December 2025, will be rescheduled by 01 hour.

6. Train No. 12902 Ahmedabad – Dadar Express, journey commencing on 27th December 2025, will be rescheduled by 01 hour.
