Tillman Global exploring establishment of ‘future-ready hyperscale data centre’ in Gujarat

Dholera: Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi today held a meeting with Sachit Ahuja, Co-President of US-based Tillman Global, on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos to discuss future digital infrastructure investments in the state.

Tweeting about the meeting, Sanghavi said, “Had a very productive meeting with Mr. Sachit Ahuja, Co-President, Tillman Global (USA). Delighted to share that the company is exploring the establishment of a future-ready hyperscale data centre in Gujarat, with Dholera emerging as a strategic core hub for next-generation digital infrastructure.”

Notably, Tillman Global has partnered with the Telangana government and plans to invest nearly Rs 15,000 crore in a 300 MW data centre facility in Hyderabad at full build-out. Telangana senior minister Dr Sridhar Babu has earlier said that Tillman Global’s investment reflects the state’s investor-friendly policies and strengthens Hyderabad’s position as a global data centre hub.

The Gujarat government’s discussions with Tillman Global signal a similar push to attract large-scale digital infrastructure investments to the state. DeshGujaat
