Four held for pelting stones and attacking cops in Vadodara

Vadodara: Four persons were arrested after allegedly attacking police personnel during a patrol in the city’s Navayard area.
According to a complaint filed by Head Constable Dharmendra Sinh of Fatehganj police station, the incident occurred on Monday night when a suspicious rickshaw carrying four persons was stopped near Phulwadi intersection while heading towards D-Cabin. During questioning, the driver was identified as Mohammad Shahnawaz Ziauddin Qazi, a resident of Ranbasera, Navayard.
Police said the occupants tried to flee and assaulted the personnel who chased them. Shahnawaz allegedly pelted stones and scuffled with the officers. Additional police staff reached the spot and arrested Shahnawaz along with three others, Katte, Yamin and Asif. A case has been registered and further legal action is underway. DeshGujarat
