Ahmedabad: Commuters traveling between Bagodara and Dhandhuka are advised to plan their journeys in advance as the Additional District Magistrate of Ahmedabad has issued a formal notification for a major traffic diversion.

The Closure Schedule

Due to essential repair work at Railway Crossing No. 95, the main road connecting Bagodara and Dhandhuka will be closed to all vehicular traffic starting from 8:00 PM tonight (February 4) until 5:00 PM tomorrow (February 5).

Diversion Routes

To ensure the smooth flow of traffic, the following alternative routes have been designated:

– From Bagodara to Dhandhuka: Vehicles must travel via Arnej, Javaraj, and Gundi to reach Fedra, then proceed to Dhandhuka.

– From Dhandhuka to Bagodara: Vehicles should take the Fedra route, passing through Gundi and Arnej to reach Bagodara.

Strict Enforcement

Additional District Magistrate B.R. Sagar confirmed that the order is issued under the Gujarat Police Act. Local police, from the rank of Head Constable to Divisional Officers, have been authorized to penalize violators under Section 223 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023.
