Junagadh: On the occasion of the upcoming holy festival of Mahashivratri, the operator of the ropeway at Girnar has announced special relief for devotees by offering a discount on ticket prices.

According to the ropeway management, the ticket fare has been reduced by ₹69, bringing the price down from ₹699 to ₹630. The concessional rate will remain in effect for five days, from February 11 to 15, enabling thousands of pilgrims to access the shrine more easily during the festival period.

The price reduction has been introduced keeping in mind the pilgrims travelling to seek darshan of Girnar Mahadev during the festive period. With this concession, a larger number of devotees are expected to benefit from the ropeway facility.

Authorities have also made the necessary arrangements to manage the anticipated rush of devotees during the fair, ensuring smoother access to darshan at Girnar. DeshGujarat
