Gujarat Board Exam 2026: GSHSEB to Launch Toll-Free Helpline
February 11, 2026
Ahmedabad: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) will activate a dedicated helpline from February 12 to assist students, parents, and schools ahead of the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations starting February 26. The service will remain operational until March 18.
The helpline is designed to provide guidance on exam preparation, time management, and coping with stress and fear during the examination period. Parents and school authorities can also use the facility to seek clarification on examination-related concerns. The board has urged all stakeholders to make full use of the support system.
The toll-free number, 1800 233 5500, will function daily from 11 am to 6 pm throughout the examination period. Last year, the helpline received 1,927 queries within a month, most of them related to preparation strategies and exam anxiety.
By continuing this initiative, the board aims to ensure a smoother and less stressful examination experience for students across Gujarat. DeshGujarat
