Govt Admits Multiple Server Issues in Digital Gujarat Portal

Gandhinagar: The Gujarat government has received a total of 55 complaints over the past two years regarding server-related issues on the Digital Gujarat portal, including instances of the server being down, running very slowly, or frequently displaying errors.
The information was shared by the Minister for Science and Technology in response to a question raised during the ongoing Budget session of the Gujarat Assembly.
As per the official reply, as of December 31, 2025, 55 complaints were received over the last two years concerning server downtime, sluggish performance, and repeated error messages on the Digital Gujarat portal.
In response to these issues, technical measures have been undertaken to improve the portal’s performance and speed. The National Informatics Centre (NIC) team has implemented necessary technical interventions, including upgrades to database and application server storage, infrastructure enhancements, and query optimisation.
Additionally, infrastructure support has been provided by the State Data Centre (SDC) to strengthen server performance and ensure smoother functioning of the portal. DeshGujarat
