Junagadh: Police have arrested Kirti Patel from Rajasthan in connection with multiple cases registered in Junagadh over the past week, including allegations of threats, religious misconduct, and abetment linked to a suicide attempt. She was brought to Junagadh and later taken to the Civil Hospital. Police reportedly restricted media access during her arrival.
The first complaint was filed on February 16 by a woman Police Inspector, K.J. Mod, of the Junagadh Range Office, alleging criminal intimidation, breach of peace, and obstruction of duty during the Mahashivratri fair in Junagadh.
On February 18, a second FIR was registered by Swami Bajrangdas Udaseen of Nirali Khodiyar Udaseen Ashram near Bhalkatirth, accusing Patel of violating centuries-old religious traditions by bathing at Mrigikund in a saint’s attire and hurting religious sentiments.
A third complaint was filed on February 21 after local YouTuber Abjal Seeda allegedly attempted suicide by consuming phenyl, blaming harassment and extortion threats from Patel and her associates.
Seeda, who runs a YouTube channel under the name “Ziddi Boy,” claimed Patel demanded ₹20 lakh after her social media viewership allegedly declined following his critical videos about the Mrigikund controversy. DeshGujarat
