Over 10 Gulf Flights Cancelled at Ahmedabad Airport as West Asia Conflict Enters 13th Day

Ahmedabad: Air traffic between Ahmedabad and several Gulf destinations continues to remain disrupted as the West Asia conflict, which began on February 28 after air strikes by the United States and Israel on Iran, entered its 13th day on Thursday. Due to the ongoing tensions and restrictions in regional airspace, multiple international flights to and from the Gulf region were cancelled at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport.
According to the airport website, flights connecting Ahmedabad with Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Jeddah, Kuwait City and Baghdad were among those affected. Both arrivals and departures operated by IndiGo, Qatar Airways and Iraqi Airways were cancelled, causing inconvenience to passengers travelling to West Asian countries.
