Free Meal Service at Dakor Ranchhodraiji Temple Suspended Amid Curbs on Commercial LPG
March 23, 2026
Ahmedabad: The free meal service provided to devotees at the annakshetra of Ranchhodraiji Mandir in Dakor has been temporarily suspended amid the curbs on the supply of commercial LPG cylinders.
The in-charge manager of the temple’s food committee told the media that the supply of commercial gas cylinders is currently unavailable, making it difficult to continue the meal service. “Considering the heavy flow of devotees, it was not possible for us to provide meals. The service will resume once fresh stock arrives,” he said.
He added that around 1,000 devotees take prasad (meals) on the temple premises every day. DeshGujarat
